Simulation for Medical Education”

The use of simulation systems in medical education is growing rapidly worldwide. Bertas pioneers the medical
education market in Turkey, installs simulation systems for medical education at many reputable universities.
In his statement to Saglik Dergisi, Bertas A.S. General Manager, Galip Resul Mercan, noted that even though
Turkey’s Healthcare Service Providers are technically and structurally in good condition, we are behind in the
medical education of healthcare professionals. This issue must be addressed without further delay and at
a national level, starting with universities, eventually being addressed in all education centers. This can only
be done by creating regulations about medical education and also a medical simulation plan focused on
educational needs, finally creating a staggered investment system.
The leader in medical simulation system installations and services in Turkey Bertas A.S, is working hard
towards bringing Turkey on par with rest of the world. We discussed the progress and future of medical
simulation systems in Turkey with Bertas A.S. General Manager, Galip Resul Mercan.
